Pension Office launches its Financial Literacy Program, “Doughnuts and Finance.”

In an effort to empower the younger generation with essential financial skills, The Maldives Pension Administration Office has launched its interactive financial literacy program Doughnuts and Finance. The program aims to equip young individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed financial decisions and build a solid foundation for their economic future.

The program is designed to cover a wide range of topics, including budgeting, saving, investing, understanding credit, protecting and sharing wealth through interactive activities, educational games and engaging discussions. 

The first session of Doughnuts and Finance was held on 26th August 2023, at Meeruma. The session was conducted by In-house facilitators of the Pension Office Investment and Finance team, 30 participants between 13 to 19 years of age attended the session.
