Pension Office concludes the 10th annual Maldives Finance Forum at Kurumba Maldives

The 10th Finance Forum took place on May 29th at Kurumba Maldives. This year's forum, held under the theme "The Future of Finance: Exploring the Intersection of Fintech and AI," brought together industry experts and key stakeholders to discuss the latest developments in financial technology and artificial intelligence.

The forum garnered support from various sponsors, with State Trading Organisation Ltd (STO) serving as the main sponsor, Bank of Maldives as the Banking Partner, and Dhiraagu as the Digital Partner. Other sponsors included Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) as the co-sponsor and Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC), Bank of Ceylon, Sollerel Insurance, Commercial Bank of Maldives, and Mauritius Commercial Bank as Associate Sponsors.

Speakers and panelists at the Maldives Finance Forum 2023 include H.E Aminath Shiuna, the Minister of Environment, Climate Change, and Technology, and Mohamed Shareef, the State Minister. Additionally, two expert speakers from overseas, CEOs of major banks in the Maldives, and local fintech experts provided valuable insights and expertise on the evolving landscape of finance and technology.
